Regulations
1.
The Hostel is available to school children, students, teachers, wardens and members of Polish Association of Youth Hostels as well as foreigners. If there are free rooms, other guests can also be accommodated if they agree to abide by the regulations.

Groups of at least 5 people should be booking at least one month in advance, giving their leader` s first name and surname, number and sex of participants, name and address of the organiser, time of stay and date and time of arrival. After receiving confirmation for the suggested term ( in 10 days) the manager of the team makes an advance payment of 25% of the due sum payable to the hostel` s account. Its refund may be made after cancelling booking two weeks before the planned date of arrival at the latest and after deduction of the incurred cost. The refund after cancellation of the booking with shorter notice than 2 weeks before the planned arrival may occur only on important justifiable causes which can be documented and accepted on discretion of the hostel manager. In case of dispute the decision is made by the body directly supervising the hostel. In case of failure to keep the date of advance payment, the hostel manager may cancel the booking. Bookings of tour groups are accepted according to the order of booking, but the priority is given to the groups of school children and students.

Individual tourists in groups of less than 5 people are admitted for nights directly in the hostel if there are free rooms, while priority is given to persons with earlier bookings including school children and students, other guests following.

Tour groups and single tourists, if possible, can be admitted into the hostel for a fixed payment also for day stay.

A day in a hostel starts from 17.00 until 10.00 the next day. New persons are admitted between 17.00 and 21.00. All hostel guests should abide by the regulations about reporting arrivals to the local police station. Charges for night accommodation are collected on checking in, according to the price list on display in the hostel.

The hostel may be used for no longer than three nights unless there are free rooms and the manager agrees to a longer stay.

The group manager and wardens are obliged to stay overnight with tour participants in the hostel or the group cannot be admitted in the hostel.
8.
The dead hours are obligatory from 22.00 until 6.00. Tourists who arrive late or leave very early in the morning are not to disturb other guests. Departure from dead hours is only possible in exceptional cases if the manager of the hostel agrees.
9.
Between 10.00 and 17.00 bedrooms may only be used by persons who had paid their daily charge. It is only possible to depart from this rule during bad weather and in hostels which have no dining room or lounge.
10.
Drinking alcohol, gambling or smoking tobacco in the hostel is prohibited.
11.
Animals are not allowed into the hostel.
12.
You may prepare meals only in the kitchen and the rooms must be cleaned after eating.
13.
The use of heating elements or open fire is prohibited in the hostel, as well as moving furniture in bedrooms.
14.
All destruction or harm to hostel property must be reported to the receptionist, who will establish the amount of damages.
15.
The hostel is only responsible for valuables and money placed in the hostel deposit.
16.
Registration of residents is made upon presentation of the valid identity card of the registered person in compliance with the population census and identity cards Statute of 10th April 1974 and its later amendments.
17.
The hostel keeps the book of found property.
18.
Visitors are allowed in the day room as long as 10.00 p.m.
19.
Residents are required to leave the key with the receptionist each time they leave the premises.
20.
For security reasons the receptionist may refuse to open the premises between 11.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m.
21.
The hostel is not responsible for the items left in the room and the vehicles parked near the premises.
22.
The hostel staff caters for tourists accommodated in the building as well as providing other services at the set prices.
23.
Residents are required to use the hostel bed linen at the set prices. |
